We finally welcomed the newcomer 7th-year cadet that are entering Universal Peace Academy. The students went through orientation and prayer with a heart of excitement for the coming 7 days. From tomorrow the workshop will officially start.

Today, the Opening Ceremony, centered on Director Soo Hon Park was held for the new coming students. This year’s Shimjung workshop is themed with a motto, “let us be a shining filial leader of Cheon Il Guk.” The students learned the type of vision a UPA cadet must have. Lastly, they held  time for introducing each other.

This day’s program was “meeting with the Youth Envoy,” “President Selover’s word” and “President Lee Ki Song’s special lecture.” This day, UPA cadets learned what the type of work the youth envoys are doing, and the type of attitude a public worker must have. After dinner, the students had the opportunity to share their life of faith with other students.

Day 3's theme was "mission and responsibility." Today's main program was a lecture held by Dong Young Kim. He taught the cadets the type of vision that the cadets must have and the type of abilities that they should acquire during the time they can study. Finally, the new cadets had some time to hear sharings from their senior 6th-year cadets.

Today's theme was "Promise and determination as UPA cadet." The cadets watched True Mother's video of when she gave words to the very first UPA cadets. The cadets moved to Cheong Bo Training Center to go through Hoon Dok Hae training and time to declare their determination.  

The theme for the fifth day is unity

The cadets had a sports competition day that allows them to practice uniting with each other. At the “Cadet’s Night” the cadets had time to showcase their talent and have dinner together.
