1. Department Overview

The Department of Pastoral Studies aims to cultivate professional pastors and leaders who are united with the hearts of the Heavenly Parents and the True Parents, embodying attitudes of love for Heaven (Aecheon), love for humanity (Aein), and love for the nation (Aeguk). Graduates will develop:

- Pastoral Spiritual Competencies in preaching, prayer, and spirituality;

- Pastoral Evangelism Competencies in education, counseling, and care;

- Pastoral Management Competencies in organizational management, administration, and leadership.

	Conflict Management Strategy	Analyzes causes and solutions for conflicts in pastoral settings and explores the pastor’s role as a mediator in social conflicts.
	Pastoral Competency Research	Provides an academic approach to the competencies required of pastors as leaders of Cheon Il Guk, bridging theory and practice while addressing pastoral field needs.
	Church Innovation Strategy	Conducts case studies of stagnant and growing churches combined with organizational innovation theories from management studies to propose solutions for sustainable growth.
	Volunteer Management Seminar	Explores methodologies for effectively and efficiently managing volunteers as ministry partners to promote both quantitative and qualitative growth in the community.
	Fundraising Proposal Seminar	Investigates fundraising strategies for public funds and foundations, including relevant laws and procedural methods.
	Youth Ministry Seminar	Examines methods for creating new youth ministry programs and understanding youth behaviors and thinking patterns.
