Graduate University Admission FAQ

Q. What programs are available?

  1. Master’s Program: Department of True Parents’ Theology, Department of Peace NGO Studies
  2. Doctoral Program: Department of True Parents’ Theology, Department of Ministry
  3. Program Duration: Master’s (2 years), Doctoral (2–3 years)

Q. Who is eligible to apply?

  1. Master’s Program: Applicants who hold (or are expected to obtain) a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited domestic or overseas university.
  2. Doctoral Program: Applicants who hold (or are expected to obtain) a Master’s degree from an accredited domestic or overseas graduate school.
  3. Special Admission: Applicants whose parents are both foreigners, or overseas Koreans/foreigners who completed secondary or high school education abroad.
  4. Transfer Admission: Applicants who have completed at least one semester and earned 6 or more credits in a Master’s or Doctoral program of the same or related field.

Q. May I apply for a different major than my previous degree?

Yes. Applicants may apply regardless of their previous field of study, provided they hold the required academic degree.

Q. What is the admissions process?

The process includes: 1. Document Review, 2. Online Interview

Q. How are classes conducted?

Online classes are held in real time via ZOOM.

Q. What should international applicants pay special attention to?

  1. Submit a Consent for Academic Verification (with Apostille/notarization and English translation).
  2. Transcripts must indicate percentage grades.
  3. Submit proof of Korean language proficiency (TOPIK Level 3 or higher, or equivalent certification).

Q. Are scholarships available?

  1. Entrance Scholarship: 30% tuition reduction upon admission
  2. In-Program Scholarships: Up to 50% tuition support through Merit Scholarships, Global Talent Scholarships, or Need-Based Scholarships.
  3. Additional Support: Available if a faculty/staff member or a family member is concurrently enrolled.
