I. Recruitment for masters and doctoral programs

II. Qualifications for applicants

1. Common requirements:
- 1) Master’s Course
- a. Those individuals who have obtained a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, or those who will have completed a bachelor’s degree program no later than August, 2024.
- b. Those individuals who hold a bachelor’s degree or other advanced degree.
- 2) Doctoral Course
- a. Those individuals who have received a Master’s degree from a graduate school or those who will have completed a Master’s degree by August, 2024

2. Special selection: Applicants who have common requirements 1), 2) and those who match the requirements below:
- 1) Applicants whose parents are both non-Korean.
- 2) Overseas Koreans or Foreigners who have completed the equivalent of courses of Korean public primary, secondary, high school and university education abroad.

3. Transfer admission requirements: Applicants that correspond to both common requirements and special selection as well as the requirements below
- 1) Master’s degree Program
An individual who has spent at least one semester for completing the equal or similar major field study of a master’s degree program, and acquired at least six credits in domestic or foreign graduate school. - 2) Doctoral degree Program
An individual who has spent at least one semester for completing the equal or similar major field study of a doctoral degree program, and acquired at least six credits in domestic or foreign graduate school.

- 2. Documents: Go to the school homepage > click on the admission tab, > select master or doctor course, > download the application form.

Proof of University Graduation | ▶Certification of a 4year Bachelor’s degree has to have been issued. If you have submitted certification of expectant graduation, you must re-submit it before starting your Sunhak UP graduate university term. ▶If you have graduated from a foreign college, you must translate the document into English. ▶Submit verified Apostille certificate of degree confirmation (In the case of Chinese university graduates, certificate of issuance by the Chinese Ministry of Education's Operational Academic Accreditation Center) ▶If you have graduated from a foreign college, you must translate your transcript into English and it must be notarized by the consul or Apostille. ▶The applicant for doctoral course is in need of 1 copy of a certificate of graduation (or to be graduated) of bachelor, master by each. |
